To enhance its two estates in Laderin and Kobape areas of Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital, reputed real estate firm, Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited, has planned to expend N1bn for road rehabilitation and construction in the estates.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, Dr. Babatunde Adeyemo, who disclosed this in Abeokuta, said an expert in concrete roads and interlocking stones, Mr. Cyprian Emesuruman, with over 30 years of experience, has been commissioned to commence with the immediate direct labour construction of the roads at the Laderin estate.

Adeyemo spoke on Wednesday, when he was on a guided tour of the Pelican Brief Estate and Pelican Greenish Acres Farm Estate, with an Ireland-based Nigerian client, Mr. Adewale Obadina, who intends to build a multibillion Naira holiday resort on his acquired acres of land in the Pelican Brief Estate, Kobape.

The CEO, who was accompanied by veteran actor and Pelican Valley Brand Ambassador, Mr. Kayode Olasehinde, popularly called Pa James, disclosed that Emesuruman is expected to deliver the Pelican Valley major roads before May 18, to mark his birthday as well as commence interlocking stones production at the Pelican Brief Estate, Kobape, by May 19.

He added that the contractor, who has over a decade-long relationship with him, will carry out the road works, especially at the newest Pelican’s Ecostay Apartments, Pelican Pelican Brief Estate and also the mother of all Estates, the Pelican Valley Estate, where ‘unusual homes happen.’

This pleasant development is coming as more Nigerians in Diaspora continue to patronise the firm’s range of products, which are Pelican Valley Estate, Pelican Brief Estate, Pelican Ecostay Apartments and Pelican Greenish Acres Farm Estate.

Pelican Brief Estate, Adeyemo noted, is conceptualised to become a Smart City, the Dubai of Nigeria in the Masa-Kobape axis of Ogun State, pointing out that “the bold initiative is also expected to generate no fewer than 600 direct and indirect jobs as well as rev up the socioeconomic development of the area.

“The estate will host the corporate headquarters of the Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited, purpose-built lounge, restaurant, mini club and a resort for short time Airbnb Lodgers,” he said.

Adeyemo stressed that the Pelican Greenish Acres Farm Estate, situated approximately 1.6 kilometres away from the Pelican Brief Estate, will cater for the expected emerging life of interconnectivity, interdependency and fresh foods self-sustaining community among the Pelican Brief estate, Pelican’ Ecostay Apartments and Pelican Valley Estate, to promote healthy diet and healthy living among clients, tourists, estate residents and landlords.

Obadina, who expressed delight in what he saw, commended the real estate firm and its CEO, stating that “seeing is believing. Wonderful ideas are happening in Pelican Brief.

“It is a great inspiration. We are learning from you, the simplicity, honesty, integrity, humility and passion you bring to play in all your dealings.

“What is happening here is wonderful. It is a big dream unfolding and by the Grace of God, it will be fully accomplished,” he added.
